Our founding lawyers all practiced with larger firms before joining together here in an eclectic and unique partnership. By 1980, Doug Christian and Steve Dichter were already law partners and had been practicing law in Arizona since 1975. After going their separate ways in the 1990′s, they reformed their partnership in 2005 and, together with Gena Sluga, have attracted lawyers from top law schools to establish a firm listed in the Martindale-Hubbell® Bar Register of Pre-Eminent Lawyers™ and ranked in 2010 by U.S. News & World Report as a Phoenix Metropolitan First Tier Best Law Firm in 3 categories: Insurance Law, White-Collar Criminal Defense and Personal Injury Defense.
Today our focus is on efficiently providing a top-quality product. With a good mix of bright young lawyers and more “mature” experienced lawyers, we are able to offer the right skill sets to our clients at the right price. Our core practice in Arizona and Nevada is our insurance practice. We are proud to work with insurers and policyholders in insurance litigation, analyzing insurance coverage and developing good faith risk management and claim practices.
Beyond our core insurance practice we have full-service capability in both Phoenix and Las Vegas for businesses and individuals looking for personalized attention from experienced lawyers. A highly-rated white collar criminal law practice led by a former Assistant U.S. Attorney along with professional liability and personal injury lawyers who work closely with our clients in this challenging economic environment.
When we made the decision in 2005 to buck the trend and form a small Arizona firm, our goal was to provide individualized and innovative solutions to the problems facing our clients, but we wanted to do so without sacrificing quality. We are encouraged to know that at least some believe we have accomplished that goal. In the recent U.S. News & World Report Law Firm ranking, we are one of only 3 Phoenix law firms under 10 lawyers rated as a Metropolitan Tier One Best Law Firm in 3 categories and the only Phoenix firm under 10 lawyers to receive a Tier One Designation in 3 unrelated practice areas. We’ve been around for a long time. We know and respect the legal and business communities that have helped make Phoenix the 5th largest city in America and helped make us what we are today.
